Virginia Sue Pictou-Noyes was a 26-year-old mother to 5 children living in Easton, Maine, and was also a member of the Mi'kmaq Indian Nation. At the time of her disappearance, Virginia was 5'5" tall, weighed around 125 pounds, and had brown hair and brown eyes. Virginia also has a tattoo of a playboy bunny on her left shoulder, high cheekbones, and a v-shaped scar on her right forearm. She also has an indentation on one of her front teeth. Virginia was last seen in Houlton, Maine wearing a white t-shirt, denim jacket, blue jeans, and a pair of white L.A. Gear sneakers.
Virginia was assaulted outside of a tavern on April 24, 1993. It was thought that she was assaulted by her husband and his brother. She was then taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine for treatment. She left the hospital without permission before her check up was finished. She claimed she had to get home to her children. She was last seen at a truck stop in Houlton, Maine during the morning hours where she called family and friends for a ride home. She has not been heard from or seen since.
