Very little information about Terry Brown Jr.'s life is available online. Still, we know that he was the father of three children. He had 11 brothers and sisters and many more family and friends who loved him.

On Sunday, July 10, 2016, at about 6:49 p.m., authorities responded to a call in the 2800 block of Derbigny Street about an aggravated battery by shooting. Upon arrival, they found Terry lying between a white shotgun house and a brick house near the corner of Washington Avenue and Derbigny. He had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The word spread quickly about Terry Jr. Once it reached Terry's father, Terry Brown Sr., he and his wife, Anya Bourgeois, rushed to the crime scene. And soon, more family members would arrive to comfort one another.

Investigators are still looking for possible suspects and motives, and no arrests have been made. This case is still open.
