On December 12, 2009, Koecher was last seen leaving his home in St. George, Utah. The next day, he told two friends over the phone that he was in Las Vegas, NV. Two days later, his car, a white 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier, was found abandoned in a cul-de-sac in Henderson, NV. After reviewing surveillance footage from the area, officials announce that he was seen on cameras on December 13, 2009 parking his car and leaving it behind in the Henderson, NV neighborhood. Steven has not been seen or heard from since.
