Elizabeth Salgado had moved from Mexico to Provo, UT to study at the Nomen Global Language Center less than a month before she vanished. According to Elizabeth's classmates, she was last seen leaving class on April 16, 2015, before she began her 18-block walk home. More than 3 years later, Elizabeth's skeletal remains were discovered in Hobble Creek Canyon in Utah County, UT, "off the road in an area that you would not find by being on a trail", according to authorities.
