Santos vanished while migrating through Texas in 2006.

According to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs), Santos was last seen on January 15, 2006, passing through Brownsville, TX. Reports state that Santos had began vomiting on his journey and was left near a farm where cows were able to be heard. He may have last been seen in Sarita, TX instead, though this has been unable to be confirmed by authorities.

Santos has remained missing for more than 16 years. He has not been seen or heard from since his disappearance. Authorities have assumed that Santos died from the elements somewhere near Brownsville, TX or possibly Sarita, TX, but they have never been able to find any sign of him.

At the time, Santos was described as a 51 year old Hispanic/Latino man with gray or partially gray hair and an unknown eye color. He was between 5’7”-5’9” tall and weighed between 100-300 lbs. He was last seen wearing jeans and tennis shoes. He is reported to have had a piece of paper with him that included a phone number with Florida area codes. Today, Santos would be 67 years old.
