Moises Montoya Betancourt, 36 years old, was born in Honduras and made his way to the United States approximately four years before his death.

Around 7 am on Saturday, 03/06/2010, someone walking down St. Bernard Avenue in the St. Bernard neighborhood came upon Moises' deceased body. Authorities responded to the scene and found Moises lying on the St. Bernard Avenue sidewalk, below the I-610 overpass. They discovered that Moises died from multiple stab wounds, including at least one to his face. They determined that his murder occurred not long before his body was found.

Investigators are still looking for possible suspects and motives, and no arrests have been made. This case is still open.
