Michael, also known as Mike, was a true protector and was absolutely adored by his friends and family.

Michael is lovingly described by loved ones as not only being a nice, polite person, but also being a total people person. He was always willing to help anyone in need and was an honest and caring person. Michael loved traveling with friends and family and was known to be a true heavy metal fan, with his favorite band being The Misfits.

Michael is shot at a bus stop in Jacksonville, FL.

Michael meets his girlfriend at The Steel Pony, a local bar where his girlfriend was working as a bartender, and begins walking home with her after her shift ends. While walking, Michael and his girlfriend stop to rest at a bus stop on Harlow Blvd and Jammes Road in Jacksonville, FL.

Shortly after arriving at the bus stop, an unidentified male approached them and demanded that Michael’s girlfriend give him her purse. At first, she agrees, but Michael reportedly steps in and attempts to fight back, protecting her from the robbery attempt. Sadly, when he fights back, Michael is shot once by the suspect. When authorities arrive on the scene at around 4:30 am, Michael is officially pronounced deceased.

Today, Michael’s case remains open and unsolved. Authorities continue to investigate his death, though they seemingly struggle with finding new leads and avenues to look into.
