Kevin Wayne Brown was born in New Orleans. He was the father/stepfather of three children and the grandfather of two. Kevin was only 48 years old when he became the victim of gun violence.

On Tuesday, July 5, 2016, around 10:20 pm, authorities received a call about a shooting near the intersection of South Saratoga Street and Washington Avenue. Upon arrival, they found Kevin lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead.

Investigators are still looking for possible suspects and motives, and no arrests have been made. This case is still open.
