She was reportedly using the alias of "Maria Gonzalez Gonzalez," using a false Mexican ID card. Juana called her family between 15-20 September 2011, saying she was in Sasabe and would be crossing the next day. The coyote told family that Juana would be arriving in an airplane on 17 Sept 2011.
