Overview of Joseph Weber IV

Weber joined the army in 2006 as part of the military police and served two tours in Iraq. He suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder as well as a traumatic brain injury from an explosion in the Middle East. He served two tours in Baghdad as a military police officer, and he hadn’t been the same since returning home. He has concerns over mid-term exams in college and also going through a divorce.

Authorities obtained surveillance footage of Weber walking onto the bridge, but he vanished into crowds of people and has not been seen or heard from since. His phone was on until 8 p.m. that evening, according to a website his family set up to help find him. California highway patrol found his car in the Golden gate bridge employee parking lot on Nov 27th.

His cell phone is off and no banking activity. He was wearing a black jacket and a 49ER jacket.
