Jon “Kerry” Monroe was a 53-year-old farmer by trade and enjoyed trapping hunting and fishing. His family describes him as a hard worker who loved his children. Unfortunately, there are not many details available about Jon and his murder.

At some point, Jon went to his girlfriend’s home located on Southlawn Dr on December 23, 2019. While there, an unknown person knocked on the door at 7:30 pm and Jon answered. He was shot multiple times in point-blank range. He died from his injuries. Jon’s assailant has never been identified and no suspect has been publicly identified as there has been very little local media coverage about his murder.
