Jamee Christine Grossman was a 24 year old mother living in Montana when she mysteriously vanished.

Jamee was born and raised in the area of Billings, Mt and graduated from Billings Senior High School in 2005. She had two young daughters and enrolled in college prior to her disappearance, with hopes of a brighter future. Jamee worked at Fiddler’s Green in Billings, MT at the time of her disappearance. According to family members, Jamee became increasingly distant from her family around two years before her disappearance when she began a relationship with a man who didn’t want to spend time with her family.

"Jamee was a wonderful person. She had a big heart. She would give the shirt off her back to anybody. She was a great mom.” - Jamee’s mother, Leslie Taft.

Jamee vanished after a party in March of 2012.

On the morning of March 16, 2012, Jamee called the father of her baby to cancel a scheduled visitation with her child, claiming that she was sick. Frank Hammontree, Jamee’s boyfriend, claimed that he took her to the meeting location at the scheduled time and that Jamee got into a blue car with someone before leaving, claiming that this was the last time he saw her. However, surveillance footage from the meeting location did not show Frank, Jamee, or the blue car.

According to reports, Jamee and Frank attended a birthday party on the night of March 16, 2012 in Lockwood, MT. When the party guests woke up the following morning, Jamee was gone. She has not been seen or heard from since. She was reported missing in the following days.

Some reports, however, state that Jamee and Frank left the party together shortly before 2:00 am, according to a resident of the home where the party was held. According to the same witness, Jamee and Frank were in a good mood when they left.

Where the case stands today.

At the time of her disappearance in 2012, Jamee was described as a 24 year old caucasian woman with sandy brown hair and blue eyes. She was between 5’4”-5’6” tall and weighed approximately 130-145 lbs. At the time of her disappearance, Jamee's hair was straight and long, past her shoulders with no bangs. She has both ears pierced, two tongue piercings and needs corrective contact lenses to see. Jamee has mild acne scars on her face and a small brown mole on the right side of her forehead. She has a tattoo on the back of her neck with the names "Taylee & Kamryn" and a tattoo of a dragon or fairy on her right calf/ankle.
