Overview of Donda Martino
Donda Martino disappeared on June 30, 1994, from her hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was last seen on the Cuscowilla Trail and spoke to her sister-in-law on the phone that evening, saying she was getting ready to leave the house and would call back later. Unfortunately, Martino has never been heard from again.
Her family became concerned when she failed to show up for a birthday party the next day, and her husband was unable to provide any information about her whereabouts. He claimed he had gone to the store around 11:00 p.m. the night before and returned to find Martino missing. None of the family vehicles were missing.
According to Martino's husband, she had been drinking alcohol the night she disappeared. Her husband reported her missing three days later. All of her belongings and her three children were left behind in her residence, suggesting that she did not plan to be away for long.
Investigators suspected foul play in Martino's case. In October 2006, they dug up part of the garage in her former home in the hopes of finding her remains, but nothing was recovered, and her case remains unsolved.
It has been almost three decades since Donda Martino vanished, leaving her loved ones without answers. Her family continues to seek justice, hoping that someday they will find out what happened to her.
