Sadly, very little is known about who Dale was and his disappearance.

On the morning of May 20, 1981 at around 8:00 am, Dale called his girlfriend. He later left his home in Carmichael, CA, driving his orange 1976 Toyota Celica, to visit his girlfriend in Los Angeles, CA. It is not known what time Dale may have left his home, but we do know that he never arrived. Some time after he left his home, Dale was reported missing to local authorities by his roommate.

Dale’s car is found across the country.

On June 4, 1981, only around 2 weeks after Dale vanished, his car, an orange Toyota Celica with California license plate number 598TIH was discovered in New Orleans, LA. Authorities are unsure why or how his car would have ended up in Louisiana.

Where the case stands today.

Today, Dale’s case remains unsolved with little information available to aid in authorities’ investigation.

At the time of his disappearance in 1981, Dale was described as a 21 year old caucasian man with brown hair and green eyes. Dale was about 5’10” tall and weighed approximately 165 lbs. He has a scar on his left knee and was clean-shaven at the time of his disappearance. The Doe Network also notes that Dale had "perfect teeth". Dale was last seen wearing a yellow tank top, medium-sized shirt, Brittania jeans and white high-top Converse sneakers. Today, Dale would be 61 years old.
