Cody Conoboy

**partial remains loctaed** Cody was a passenger in a stolen vehicle being followed at high speed by police when the vehicle reportedly hit the side of mountain and flipped several times. Both of the other juveniles were found but Cody was last seen jumping over the guardrail on the side of the road. Assuming he was headed down the steep embankment towards the trinity river in an attempt to run the police waited for safety gear to follow him but he was never found. Several searches were performed by both the police and family friends and volunteers including efforts by land air boat and K9 units but the only evidence of his descent that were found were his backpack and one shoe found several miles downriver. It is unknown if he entered the river or if he was injured in the descent. (Information retrieved from NamUs.gov)
