We need your help filling in the gaps of information in these cases.

The Charley Project Map and Meaghan Good
These are the names of the more than 50 women who were found strangled in Chicago from 2001 through 2019.

Our team will continue to update this page as case cards are added to our database. However, we ask the public to help us in our efforts to crowdsource these gaps. Information can be submitted directly to our database by utilizing the “Contribute to a Case” button.

It is important to remember that each of these women was a human being with dreams, hopes, and aspirations. Their lives were cut short by violence, and their deaths have left a lasting impact on their families and communities. The murders in Chicago also serve as a reminder of the need for comprehensive action to address the root causes of violence against women, including poverty, systemic racism, and gender inequality. Only through a concerted effort to address these issues can we hope to prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future.

If you believe there is a victim that should be included in this list, please submit the case to us.
