Overview of Diamond Turner
Diamond Turner was a 21-year-old woman who lived in South Side, Chicago, at the time of her murder. She was last seen leaving a sports bar in the neighborhood where she lived. Diamond’s family began to get extremely worried when they couldn’t reach her, leading to them filing a missing person report. At the time of the murder, Diamond was in a relationship with a man named Arthur Hilliard, but a lack of conclusive evidence meant the authorities couldn't make an arrest. However, in January of 2020, Hilliard was arrested when DNA from the scene resulted in a match to Hilliard's DNA. Arthur Hilliard, allegedly dumped Diamond’s body in a trash bin in the 7300 block of South Kenwood Avenue in Grand Crossing, where she was found days later by trash collectors on March 3, 2017. He has been implicated in multiple separate murders and is currently awaiting trial.
