It was cloudy and 81 degrees in the early morning hours of Monday, 07/03/2017. Timothy Armstrong and his friend, Tyrone Brumfield, were sitting outside on the steps of a home located at 1930 Spanish Town Rd. in Baton Rouge. It was around 1:25 am, and Tyrone's fiancee, Donna Roberson, had just gotten off work and was still sitting in her truck with the window rolled down, talking to Tyrone, when someone opened fire. Tyrone, Timothy, and Donna were all hit in the gunfire. Tyrone died at the scene, while Timothy and Donna were taken to the hospital. Timothy eventually died from his injuries as well, but Donna made it. She was shot 3 times in the right leg and once in the left leg and had broken glass from her windshield lodged into her shoulder.

Police say they haven't made any arrests in the killings and have not yet identified a motive or pieced together who might have been the target of the gunfire.
