Tony Eugene Woodworth was a 35 year old man living in Charleston, MO at the time of his disappearance.

Tony was known as a very funny guy, who prioritizes family over everything. Shortly before his disappearance, Tony was released from house arrest after spending time in prison for burglary. Because of this, Tony’s family does not believe he would have left town without telling any of them, especially because he was known to stay in contact with family members no matter what.

Tony vanished from his sister’s home in October of 2007.

Tony was last seen walking out of his sister Teresa's home located in the 200 block of North Elm Street in Charleston, MO around 4:30 pm. According to reports, Tony was planning to walk to a neighbor’s home to speak with them, because they allegedly owed him money. In one interview, Tony’s sister, Teresa, explained that Tony had been arguing with a group of people outside before leaving the area on foot. Tony left the house on foot, with no cell phone and no access to a car. He has not been seen or heard from since.

Shortly after Tony’s disappearance, rumors began circling.

Not long after Tony’s disappearance, rumors about what may have happened to him began spreading rapidly, the most prominent being that someone shot him and has hidden his body. Some witnesses allegedly reported hearing a gunshot in the neighborhood near where Tony was last seen, though these reports have not been confirmed.

Tony has remained missing without a trace for more than 15 years. His family continues hanging and distributing flyers and spreading awareness for Tony’s case. At the time of his disappearance in 2007, Tony was described as a 35 year old caucasian man with brown hair and brown eyes. He was 5’10” tall and weighed approximately 160-178 lbs. Tony has tattoos on both of his arms, including a cross along with the word "mom" on his right arm. He also has tattoos on his left hand, calf, finger, shoulder, wrist, and his upper left arm along with tattoos on his right arm, calf, wrist, forearm, and upper arm. Tony also has unknown tattoos on his chest and abdomen. He has a burn scar on his left arm as well as back problems, and had a mustache at the time of his disappearance. Tony was last seen wearing a striped shirt or white muscle shirt with writing on it, wind pants or blue shorts, and sneakers. Today, Tony would be 49 years old.
