Anderson left her home the morning of February 23rd. She was last seen at an ATM on Wooddale Boulevard- withdrawing $1,000 from her Telco Credit Unit account. According to her aunt, Tameka told friends she planned to use the cash to buy a car from a man in the Galvez area. She says, "On her way to Galvez, she talked to several people. She talked to her friend in New Orleans, and think she talked to another girlfriend that's here in Baton Rouge."
But her aunt says after that, her niece disappeared. That car was never purchased.
There are no indications of foul play but her disappearance is considered to be unusual and out of character. She did not bring anything with her, including her clothes or her phone charger.
Her family says she would never leave her children. (Information retrieved from NamUs.gov)
