Roy Bluebird was last seen after being released from a jail in New Mexico.

On May 12, 1987, Roy Thomas Bluebird was released from Gallup Municipal Jail in Gallup, NM. Later that day, he was last seen in Vanderwagen, NM. He has not been seen or heard from since. Unfortunately, there is very little information available about Roy or his disappearance.

Today, it has been over 35 years since Roy was seen in Vanderwagen, NM. His case is officially labeled as a “cold case” as investigators have been unable to find any sign of him since his disappearance.

At the time of his disappearance in 1987, Roy was described as a 31 year old Native American man with black hair and brown eyes. He was 5’7” tall and weighed 165 lbs. Roy has cigarette burn scars on his forearms. He also has scars on his right cheek and above his navel. He was last seen wearing either brown Dingo cowboy pants and a brown short-sleeved t-shirt and brown pants or a gray or white sport t-shirt and faded Wrangler blue jeans.
