In 1971, Mr. Roberto Franco migrated from Cuba with his family. On August 8, 1985, he told his wife that he was going to the bakery, located at SW 289 Street & US-1 and then to visit a friend who lived in the area of SW 136th Street & Krome Avenue. He was last seen driving a blue 1980-81 Chevy pick-up truck (unknown model), with a camper on the back. The vehicle was located a few days later, in the area of SW 186th Street & S. Dixie Highway, but Mr. Franco has not been seen or heard from since. (Information retrieved from NamUs.gov)
