Natasha left her grandmother’s home on May 7, 2015 and left a note for her sons.

Natasha was last seen leaving her grandmother’s home on May 7, 2015. Before she left, she wrote out a note to her sons and left it under one of their pillows. According to reports, the note explained that she was going to go find somewhere for the three of them to stay, adding that she loved them and that she would be gone for a few days. She also wrote that she would be back soon.

“That was nothing unusual for her to go with a friend to the doctor or hit the woods or go for a walk. It started getting dark. I told the boys to get ready for bed. When I went to check on them I saw [one of Natasha’s sons] reading a note that his mom wrote to the boys. She told them she would be gone for two to three days and to not be sad. She would be back. I didn’t want to show the boys I was worried. I asked [Natasha’s son] if he had heard from her. He said no.” - Ola Chaffins, Natasha’s grandmother.

Natasha left the home while her grandmother was out at a doctors appointment and was picked up by an unidentified female friend. Some reports state that Natasha left the home to go to a party.

Natasha is left with an acquaintance in a strange area.

According to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs), Natasha is dropped off and left with an unidentified male acquaintance at a reclaimed strip mine. What happens next may be even more strange. According to this male acquaintance, Natasha randomly ran off into a heavily wooded area nearby and never returned. A month later, Natasha was reported missing by her grandmother.

"I just figured she was going to stay somewhere for the night. She didn't come back. It went on for two weeks. I was really worried, but I didn't let the boys know it." - Natasha’s grandmother, Ola Chaffins.

Where the case stands today.

Today, Natasha remains missing and her case remains unsolved. Authorities continue investigating her case and have recently received assistance from Texas EquuSearch, a nonprofit organization that offers free search services to families of missing people and to law enforcement agencies.

“We want her brought home. We are looking for her any way in the world. We want to know where she is. Her boys love her and want her home. I want her home. Everybody wants her home.” - Ola Chaffins, Natasha’s grandmother.

At the time of her disappearance in 2015, Natasha was described as a 31 year old caucasian woman with bleach blonde hair and green/hazel eyes. She was between 5’7”-5’10” tall and weighed approximately 120-130 lbs. Natasha has a tattoo of a flower on her lower back and the outline of a butterfly on her upper back.
