Nancy was last seen the evening of March 5th, 1974, as a passenger with a young gentleman and lady whom she and a friend had hitchhiked a ride with. On March 6th, 1974 Nancy's body was found inside her home which was intentionally set on fire and investigators state that she was murdered before the fire was set. The young couple that gave Nancy a ride seemed unfamiliar with the area and were driving a light colored VW.
