On December 25th 2006, the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office received a report of a missing person from 6733 Old Sandhill Road in Edward, North Carolina. A family member reported that Kierra Westine Barnett, age 21, had not been seen or heard from since December 20th, 2006. Barnett has a prior history of substance abuse. An investigation by the Sheriff's Office indicates that criminal activity may be involved in her disappearance.
