Overview of Karin Santos-Coy

On July 10, 1980, hikers discovered the decomposing body of Karin Santos-Coy, age 19, along Red Rock Road, north of Reno, Nevada. She had been reported missing to the Reno Police Department after disappearing on June 28, 1980. Santos-Coy was last known to be at the Reno Rodeo attending the performances. She was left nude along a dirt road.

Santos-Coy was seen talking with 2 white males at the Rodeo. (Information provided by the Washoe Sheriff's Office).
