The Guthrie family, consisting of Leslie, Julie, and Timothy, disappeared from Katonah, New York on February 5, 1977.

At 1:30 p.m. that day, Leslie picked up the children from their father's home and drove away in a white 1974 Ford Maverick with a green roof. The family has not been seen or heard from since.

Timothy Sr., the father, was ruled out as a suspect and cooperated fully with the investigation. There were no indications that Leslie had planned to leave and her vehicle has never been recovered. Despite ongoing efforts, the fate of the Guthrie family remains unknown and their case remains unsolved.
