Overview of John Bornos
In 1993, Robert John Bornos visited the Choptank Inn in Easton, Maryland to celebrate getting a new job and played pool with friends. He told his companions that he was feeling ill and stepped into the parking lot where he was last seen standing next to a blue vehicle. He was never heard from again.
His vehicle was found abandoned in a parking lot seven miles from the Choptank Inn one week after his disappearance, but he wasn't reported missing for five years. Foul play is suspected and his family believes he's deceased.
Bornos was close to his family but had a tumultuous relationship with his wife.
His case remains unsolved.
