Jerry Leer Greer was an honest man who always kept his word and maintained a dedicated schedule. He worked as a mechanic in Paso Robles. He was a beloved member of the Templeton community. He enjoyed hunting and wood making.

On March 28, 2009, 71-year-old, Jerry Lee Greer was found fatally shot inside his home. He was discovered by family. Jerry's son, Brian was named a person of interest early into the case. However, Brian maintains his innocence and has not been arrested in connection to the crime.
