Four year old Jaquilla Scales was last seen on the early morning hours of September 5, 2001, asleep in her bed in her Wichita, KS home. According to authorities, Jaquilla was discovered missing at around 3:00am that morning. Authorities note that the back door to the family's home was not able to lock, though it seemed that there were no signs of forced entry to the home and there was no indication of a struggle in the home.
