Overview of Hunter Bruner

Hunter Bruner was discovered missing on April 30, 2020 when he failed to check in with his unit.

A search was done of his barracks to no avail. Unfortunately, there is limited information on Hunter's case.

The Tacoma Police Department located Hunter's personal car, a silver Kia Rio (2013-2015) on May 1, 2020. It was parked in a location near the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. When questioned by Army CID, local residents remembered the car had been parked in that location since the evening of April 29th. Hunter's cell phone was found in the car, but his wallet and keys were missing. Nothing suspicious was found in or around the car. A search of the waters below the bridge revealed nothing.

Hunter Bruner remains missing.

There has been no activity on Hunter's bank accounts since he went missing. There is a $25,000 reward for information leading to his whereabouts. The case is being handled by the US Army Criminal Investigations Command (CID) at JBLM.
