On Saturday, December 9, 2006 at approximately 6:30 am, the Gainesville Fire Department responded to a house fire at 1715 NW 32nd Pl. in Gainesville, FL. After the fire was extinguished, firefighters located two deceased bodies, one adult (28), and one child (6) in the rubble. Evidence gathered at the scene indicated the mother & daughter were deceased prior to the fire and the fire was intentionally started to cover the murder.
