Haleigh Cummings, a 5-year-old girl, disappeared from her family's trailer in Satsuma, Florida, on February 10, 2009. She was last seen sleeping in her bed before her father's live-in girlfriend, Misty Janette Croslin, reported her missing.

The police found no sign of forced entry, but the back door was left open with a cinder block. An extensive search of the area turned up no trace of Haleigh.

Ronald and Misty have insisted the door was locked. Haleigh's younger brother claimed that a man dressed in black had come to their home that night and taken her, but authorities were unsure about the credibility of his story due to his age.

Haleigh's father and his girlfriend were arrested on drug trafficking charges, and Ronald was released from prison in 2022. Misty is not expected to be released until 2031.

Haleigh's case remains unsolved and is classified as a homicide.
