Overview of Gregory Hills
Gregory Charles Hills, aka '"G-Man," was only 19 when he was murdered. Very little information about Gregory's short life is available online. Still, we know he had two sisters, four brothers, and many family and friends who loved him, including his stepfather, Lawrence Brown, who passed away the same day and nearly at the same time as Gregory.
On Sunday, March 24, 2014, at about 8:30 p.m., authorities were called to the 3500 block of Audubon Court in Gert Town about a report of a man down. There, they found Gregory lying face down in the middle of the street. He had been shot once and was pronounced dead at the scene.
At about the same time, only a few blocks away, at the corner of Broadway Street and Washington Avenue, authorities came across yet another crime scene. There they found Gregory's stepfather, Lawrence Brown, still in his red pickup truck, suffering from several gunshot wounds to his body. Investigators believe Lawrence drove only a short distance after being shot before he lost consciousness and crashed into a nearby business, where he was ultimately found. Investigators are still looking for possible suspects and motives, and no arrests have been made. This case is still open.
