Felicia McGuyer was last seen on October 7, 2007, on Roxton Street in Dorchester, Massachusetts. She left behind her eleven-year-old son and has not been heard from since. Her mother reported her missing ten days later, and her son and other family members believe she would have contacted them if she was able to.

At the time of her disappearance, McGuyer was living with her boyfriend, David Pena. Pena stated that he was involved in a physical altercation with her inside their apartment, and she stabbed him in the shoulder with scissors. Pena left and went to his mother's house, and upon his return a few days later, he said that McGuyer was gone, and all her belongings had been moved out.

In 2017, authorities located a witness who said that after Pena and McGuyer's fight, he helped Pena move something wrapped in carpeting and a blanket, which they disposed of in a wooded area in the vicinity of Boston. The witness recognized the object he helped move as McGuyer's body. In January 2023, Pena was arrested in Florida and charged with McGuyer's murder, as well as an unrelated count of cocaine trafficking. He is currently awaiting trial. Despite Pena's arrest, McGuyer's remains have yet to be found, and foul play is suspected in her case due to the circumstances involved.
