Dorothy spent time amongst truckers, cleaning their cabs, but on August 21, 2004, she was found in her home that she shared with a roommate, beaten with severe head trauma. She died a few days later. Detectives have had a hard time figuring out who she was, who knew her, and why someone would have beaten her.
