"24-year-old Denton Hill was last known to be in the 1000 block of Hull Road in Sumiton, AL. According to Sumiton Police Chief TJ Burnett, investigators believed Denton and other people were engaging in some criminal activity at the time of his disappearance.

Over the years, multiple searches have been conducted in Empire, Cordova, Sipsey and other counties in an attempt to locate Denton, but those searches have been unsuccessful.

""We do have people of interest in mind, but we're looking for anyone who has factual information or witnessed something to please come forward. I believe there are people out there who witnessed it or have been told directly what actually happened to him."" - Sumiton Police Chief TJ Burnett.

Authorities suspect foul play. In 2020, Sumiton Police Chief TJ Burnett stated he felt there were people with information who had not come forward due to a lot of intimidation and he hoped the involvement of CrimeStoppers would encourage those individuals to call in anonymously.
