Overview of David Williams
David Williams was 12 years old when he went missing along with his roommate, Steven Anderson. David had epilepsy and wore a helmet to protect his head from seizures.
Both David and Steve were students at New Libson State School in New Jersey; a school for students with disabilities who needed full-time care and services. While there is very limited information on David's case, David and his roommate, Steven Anderson was last spotted on campus around 4:15 pm on April 7, 1975. The boys were heading to the baseball field. It is believed that both boys wandered off into the woods. However, by 8 pm that evening, both boys were reported missing. The school was right off Route 72. David was last seen wearing a blue jacket, striped pants, and a dark polo shirt.
Another similar story broke 7 years after David and Steven went missing, Kenneth Schweighart, who was older at age 46, also vanished. He attended the same school as David and Steven and has not been found. The most recent action was the FBI searching a Wildlife Rescue where skull remains were found, but no further comments have come out of it.
