Clyde Bowman vanished while on a hunting trip.

While on a hunting trip in the Salmon National Forest in Lemhi County, ID, 57 year old Clyde Bowman was last seen or heard from on November 8, 1981. He has not been seen or heard from since and his case has been labeled “cold” by authorities.

Where the case stands today.

Today, Clyde has been missing for nearly 41 years. Authorities presume he got lost in the forest while hunting or may have injured himself, and that he likely died from the elements.

At the time of his disappearance in 1981, Clyde was described as a 57 year old caucasian male with graying brown hair and brown eyes. He was between 5’7”-5’11” tall and weighed between 160-190 lbs. If alive today, Clyde would be 98 years old.
