After that, he advised he was leaving to go to Florida with an unknown associate and his family had not heard from him since. He was possibly assaulted in Florida during the last few years. The last confirmed sighting of Hoeing was on September 20, 2018 in Jefferson County, Washington. He stated at that time he was in route to Seattle on an “adventure” and took a wrong turn.
