Brandon Lee Helms has been missing for almost 7 years. Brandon was depressed after getting laid off from his career and an impending divorce from his wife, Misty. The couple had two daughters, both of whom he loved very much. Brandon's disappearance has bewildered friends and family members since December 14th, 2015. Do you know what happened to him? It was a cold and windy December day in Lakeland, Georgia. Brandon lived with his best friend, Monty in the middle of his divorce, and things were not stable in their household. The two argued the night prior, but Monty confirmed that Brandon was definitely home when he got up and left for work on December 14th.

At exactly 11:17 am, Brandon sends a text to Misty, claiming he was taking the "cowards way out" and said goodbye. He was unreachable after he sent that message. Friends and family went to his shared residence, but he was nowhere to be found

Brandon's red pickup truck was parked in the driveway, his coat, cigarettes, lighter, and cellphone, were all inside. His car keys and wallet, which he always carried with him, were never found. Monty and Brandon lived on a long, rural stretch of land, preventing any cameras or sightings of Brandon. In 2022, police announced that Brandon's case would be reopened. Misty is pushing for Brandon to be declared dead, against his family's wishes.
