Do you know what happened to Bianca Damanik?
Our cold case database is in danger of no longer being maintained.
Bianca Damanik was last seen on January 12, 2005, when she was abducted by her non-custodial mother, Elfarida Damanik. This occurred two weeks after custodial rights were given to Bianca's father, Robert McConnell.
Elfarida is described as Asian, 5'5-5'6, 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, and has one missing upper tooth. Bianca's parents never married and their relationship only lasted a few months.
Elfarida is believed to have taken Bianca to Jakarta, Indonesia, where she was born and has worked as a nanny. There are warrants out for her arrest for interference with custody and international parental kidnapping, but Indonesia does not recognize American custody orders.
Bianca's case remains unsolved.
