Overview of Belinda Norred
Belinda Norred was last seen in Acworth, Georgia on August 6, 1992, following an argument with her boyfriend Steven Creasman. They left in Norred's silver Nissan pickup truck, and Norred's fourteen-year-old daughter returned home the next day to find her mother gone, along with a phone cord, a comforter, and her truck. Six weeks later, the truck was found parked at a shopping center in Marietta, Georgia, but there was no sign of Norred.
Steven Creasman, who had a criminal record for car theft, is considered a suspect in Norred's disappearance as well as the 1989 disappearance of another girlfriend, Twyla Mickey, and the murder of his wife, Rita Creasman, who disappeared in 1986. He claimed Rita had gone out to run errands and never returned, but her body was found two days later in a creek a few miles from home, showing signs of strangulation.
Despite being the prime suspect in all three cases, Steven was never charged, and he passed away in 2013 at the age of 55. He remarried after Rita's death and had a history of suicide attempts.
Foul play is suspected in Norred's case, as Steven pawned some of her jewelry, which her children said she never took off. Her case remains unsolved.
