Overview of Bayard Cousins
Bayard William Cousins vanished without a trace from Virginia in 1975.
Bayard was last seen at his parents’ home in Virginia Beach, VA on February 1, 1975. When his parents, who were out of town at the time, returned home, they found a note that Bayard had left, which told them to not worry about him. He was reported missing shortly after. He has not been seen or heard from since.
Where the case stands today.
Bayard has not been seen or heard from since he left his parent’s home in February of 1975. Though no sign of him has ever been found, people have taken to the internet and begun to compare Bayard’s case to several John Does who remain unidentified. Several Does have been mentioned in these comparisons, including a Belle Chasse, LA John Doe who ended his own life in February of 1975. Unfortunately, no positive match has been made, leaving Bayard’s case unsolved.
At the time of his disappearance in 1975, Bayard was described as a 22 year old caucasian man with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He was around 6’2”-6’3” tall and weighed approximately 160 lbs. Bayard has a cross-shaped scar on one of his fingers and he wears glasses. He was fluent in Spanish and was an ecology activist.
