Audrey left her residence in Reedsburg, WI, in July or August 1962. She was a 20 yr old mother of two and wife of five years. Audrey traveled with a 14 yr old girl who was an acquaintance and hitchhiked to Madison, WI, where the two boarded a Greyhound Bus and traveled to Indianapolis, IN. They both got off the bus, and the 14 yr old turns herself into the police as a runaway. Audrey was last seen walking around the corner away from the bus stop, and this was her last known location. She reportedly stated that she did not want to return. Though last known to be Indianapolis, IN, a missing persons report was filed in with her hometown local law enforcement agency, Sauk County Sheriff's Office (Wisconsin).
