On November 13, 2008, Anthony Freddy Calzada went missing from Fort Washington, Maryland. He was taken by his father, Freddy Edwin Calzada, on a vacation to Bolivia and never returned. An arrest warrant for international parental kidnapping was issued for Freddy on July 1, 2010.
Calzada was 38 years old at the time of Anthony's abduction, Hispanic, 5'9, and 165 pounds, with graying black hair and black eyes. His name may also be spelled "Freddie," and his last name "Calzada-Juaniquina." His relationship with Anthony's mother, Maria Virginia Bright, is divorced, and she has custody of Anthony and his two siblings.
Anthony and Freddy are believed to be in Bolivia, but Anthony's whereabouts are unknown. The case remains unsolved.
