Overview of Andre Bryant

In March 1989, Andre Bryant, an infant from Brooklyn, New York, was allegedly abducted along with his mother, Monique Rivera. The case remains unsolved to this day.

According to reports, Rivera was out for a walk with her three children when she was approached by two women driving a 1988 or 1989 burgundy Pontiac Grand Am Sports Edition with tinted windows and possibly Maryland license plates. One woman was African-American, approximately 30 years old with a dark complexion, while the other was Hispanic or African-American with long red hair and a light complexion. They convinced Rivera to go shopping with them, and she agreed to meet them the following day in White Plains, New York.

On March 29, 1989, Rivera left her other children with her sister-in-law and was last seen with the two women and her baby, Andre. The next day, Rivera's body was discovered in the Bronx woods near City Island Road. She had been beaten and strangled, and her baby was missing. The two women have never been identified.

Authorities suspected that Andre may have been sold into an adoption ring, and his case was linked to the disappearances of two other African-American children from the same park in Harlem, Shane Walker and Christopher Dansby, who disappeared three months apart in 1989.

Despite extensive investigations, the cases of Andre Bryant, Monique Rivera, Shane Walker, and Christopher Dansby remain unsolved.
