Alma was purportedly dropped off at an aunt's house in Rio Linda by her "boyfriend" who was 25 at the time. The male subject stated that she was not there when he returned to pick her up. Her family indicates that Alma did not have an aunt living in Rio Linda. The male was later convicted of child molestation in an unrelated case.
