Shawn Higgins was last seen on October 14, 2016 during a hunting trip with his son in the Shasta Costa drainage in the Bear Camp area about 45 miles east of Gold Beach, OR.
Shawn's son was located alive on Oct. 18th by search crews in the mountains between Grants Pass and Gold Beach, OR. He was severely hypothermic and taken to a hospital in Coos Bay. (Information retrieved from NamUs.gov)
