Sedgwick County John Doe was a male who was found in Sedgwick County, Kansas on October 29, 1994. He had been buried in a field at 47th & Hoover in Wichita, Kansas. The decomposing body was found when a group of Kansas Gas and Electric workers were cleaning up trash in the area and an odor caught their attention. Bones were found shortly afterward.He had been found wrapped in various objects.The victim was wearing a purple shirt with vertical stripes and khaki shorts. A DNA profile is available with no hits at this time. It’s believed this was a homicide that occurred 3-4 months prior. His shirt has a specific Bugle Boy emblem. 23-28 years old.
